- 1Take your time, do not rush the process.
- 2Swab top of glass cartridge with alcohol prep pad.
- 3Insert luer lock into the glass cartridge
- 4Prep cartridge with the included yellow RefillPen button (video: New Refill Button!)
- 5Make sure you are holding the cartridge flat firmly on a surface or using a Halo Cartridge filler.
- 6Get rid of excess air that may be in your transfer needle before inserting it into the cartridge for transfer so you are not adding additional air to the cartridge.
- 7SLOWLY FILL THE CARTRIDGE WITH THE LIQUID, DO NOT RUSH THIS STEP, THE AIR NEEDS TIME TO VENT OUT THROUGH THE LUER LOCK.
- 8Once the liquid is in, hold the cartridge firmly on the surface or in the halo and allow 15 seconds to make sure the air fully releases out of the cartridge so you do not create a back pressure and the rubber stopper pushes back out of the back.
- 9You can check if there is still pressure by picking up the cartridge with your finger on the gray rubber stopper and make sure that it is not pressing against your finger out of the back, if it is, there is still pressure in your cartridge, insert a luer lock to release the pressure.
