Individually sterilized 3 mL glass cartridges — the standard refill for every RefillPen. Each is double-sterilized, individually steamed, sealed one per pouch, and ready to load. At about $1 each, refilling costs a fraction of a new pen.
The $1 refill
This is the consumable that makes a reusable pen pay off: when a cartridge is empty, you load a fresh one for about a dollar instead of buying a whole new pen.
Short-stopper — match it to your pen
RefillPen pens use 3 mL short-stopper cartridges. Long-stopper cartridges sold for some other pens are not compatible, so always match the stopper to your pen.
Common questions
Will these fit my pen?
Yes — the standard 3 mL short-stopper format fits every RefillPen model and works with universal pen needles.
Short stopper vs long stopper — does it matter?
Yes. RefillPen pens use 3 mL short-stopper cartridges; long-stopper cartridges are not compatible. Always match the stopper to your pen.
Are they sterile?
Each cartridge is double-sterilized, individually steamed, and sealed one per pouch, ready to load.
How many doses does one cartridge give?
That depends on your per-dose volume — divide 3 mL by it. The dosing calculator works out your units and doses per cartridge.
Reviews
I bought 30 of the cartridges back in June, and I have not once worried about the sterility of them. It is clearly indicated on each individual pack by the very very black indicator mark. Will continue to purchase my cartridges from RefillPen. Not to mention, they are shipped in these nice little drawstring bags, adds a nice touch. The picture is what I have left of my order of 30.
Aside from the great products, thoughtful packaging, surprise starter pack gifts included with purchase, and excellent customer service - there are instructional videos. This is the most considerate organization I have ever purchased from. You’re not just a transaction, you’re family.
Sterility shows on the package. Others I have purchased elsewhere were not steamed and sterile. These are too legit to quit! ;)
I have ordered from refillpen several times. Items are as described, fast shipping and well priced. My go to source for pens and supplies.
Exactly what you need for the pen. I always order an extra because I'm clumsy and drop mine sometimes. LOL
