The Halo is a filling block that holds your 3 mL cartridge perfectly upright and steady while you load it, so each refill goes in clean and bubble-free. Filling a cartridge by hand is fiddly — the Halo does the same job as our Yellow Refill Button, in holder form, for faster, less wasteful refills.
Mess-free refills
Filling a 3 mL cartridge by hand means spills and bent needles. The Halo braces the cartridge steady and helps press the air out so your solution transfers cleanly — one of those small things you didn't know you needed until your first mess-free refill.
Pairs with your whole setup
The Halo works with every RefillPen model and our 3 mL short-stopper cartridges, so it drops straight into your routine.
Common questions
What does the Halo do?
It holds your 3 mL cartridge upright and steady while you fill it and helps press the air out, so each refill goes in clean and bubble-free.
Does it fit my pen's cartridges?
Yes — the Halo works with every RefillPen model and standard 3 mL short-stopper cartridges.
Halo or the Yellow Refill Button?
Both make filling easier: the Yellow Button frees the stopper, and the Halo braces the whole cartridge. The Halo is the holder form of the same job.
What's the Specialty edition?
The Specialty Halo comes in limited-run colors you won't find on the Standard version. It's the same tool, different finish.
Reviews
The Halo cartridge holder helps hold the cartridge while you prep for filling. I didn't realize the button in the center is used to release the rubber plungger in the cartridge and purge air. Watch the video in the FAQ "Hard to Push Dial" for a demo, that helped me a bunch. I believe the Halo is well designed and worth the purchase! Thx!
